Scott K. Tusing (he/him) is a Lighting & Special Effects Programmer based in New York City. A problem solver whose work spans the globe, he’s the first call when productions are looking to push the boundary of technology and system integrations.
Recent projects include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Broadway, US Tour, San Francisco, Netherlands, Toronto, Hamburg), Death Becomes Her (US Tour), The Lost Boys (Broadway), The Last Five Years (Broadway), &Juliet (Broadway, Toronto), Six (Broadway, Aragon Tour, Boleyn Tour), and The Great Gatsby (Broadway, US Tour, Seoul, Paper Mill Playhouse).
Beyond programming, Scott advises leading lighting control and moving light manufacturers on product development and strategy, and co-owns Borealis Solutions, a software development company known for Vor. He also mentors the next generation of programmers and designers through ETC’s Fred Foster Mentorship program.
